In late October 2016 I presented Sam with a difficult assignment. I wanted to sell an apartment in a high rise city fringe development, one of the few segments of the market that is not experiencing record prices. In fact an oversupply of product and with more being built has resulted in falling values. Marketing my property was challenging with little to differentiate the more than 20 for sale at the same time in the building, many of which had been on the market for months. Just getting people interested enough to look at the property was difficult let alone finding a genuine buyer.
